Dr. Tipton is a senior security researcher at Intel where he focuses on system software fuzzing (UEFI), red teaming, and cloud security. Before Intel he specialized in vulnerability research and reverse engineering. He is passionate about finding bugs and helping improve security for the community.

B.Sc. in computer science at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a thesis [1] on firmware power management (Dasharo/coreboot). Worked with the Systems Research group at KIT to port coreboot to an ASRock board on Intel's Eagle Stream (Sapphire Rapids) platform [2].

Piotr Król is an open-source firmware enthusiast who founded 3mdeb in March 2015. His expertise is rooted in the hacker ethos of collaborative innovation and transparency, guiding 3mdeb's focus on projects like Zarhus OS, a Yocto-based Embedded Linux distribution, and Dasharo, a coreboot downstream project. These projects are dedicated to open development, embedded firmware resilience, platform security, transparency, the right to repair, and digital sovereignty.

Piotr's deep involvement in open-source firmware includes key computing areas such as Root of Trust, Secure, Verified and Measured Boot, TPM, coreboot, UEFI, EDK II, Yocto, U-Boot, and Linux. Recently, I began my professional journey with 3mdeb as a Junior Embedded Systems Developer. Being part of a team that contributes to the open-source community gives me a lot of appreciation for the collaborative nature of tech innovation.

Wessel Klein Snakenborg is passionate about technology since childhood. He launched NovaCustom in 2015, crafting tailor-made laptops with privacy and security in mind.
