Fabian Meyer
B.Sc. in computer science at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a thesis [1] on firmware power management (Dasharo/coreboot). Worked with the Systems Research group at KIT to port coreboot to an ASRock board on Intel's Eagle Stream (Sapphire Rapids) platform [2].

Session
We are an operating systems research group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and are actively working with coreboot on current-gen x86 platforms in our research. Fabian has successfully used Dasharo on an MSI Alder Lake board for his BA thesis [1] last year and we have since ported coreboot ourselves to an ASRock board on Intel's Eagle Stream (Sapphire Rapids) platform [2]. In this talk, we will share some of our experiences and insights gained while working with Dasharo and coreboot as well as a sneak peek into the research we are doing here at KIT.
