From Community Collaboration to Automated Localization: Building a Sustainable Documentation Ecosystem for Qubes OS, what is ahead?
Two years after the last talk about Qubes OS documentation's reStructuredText (rST) conversion and localization we are back at it.
This talk will briefly review the journey of transitioning from Markdown to rST as the standard for
Qubes OS documentation, the community’s role in reviewing and contributing, lessons learned, and how we can address multilungual documentation and the localization process itself as a coming milestone further down the road.
And since imho LLMs are fascinating tools (with all the ethical, political, societal, economic, privacy, climate implications put aside for this sentence), would also like to present some use cases regarding the documentation such as a local, offline LLM setup for translation in Qubes OS, minimizing the reliance on external services.
