S0ix support for Qubes OS: A quick update
10-07, 10:55–11:10 (Europe/Berlin), Social Hub Main Room

A short overview of the current effort to get S0ix (suspend to idle) working on Qubes OS.

Some modern platforms stopped supporting classic S3 standby (suspend to RAM). Instead they only support S0ix (suspend to idle, also known as "Modern Standby"). Unfortunately for Qubes OS this isn't currently supported by Xen and Linux running under Xen. This talk will give an overview of the current state of the ongoing work to get support for S0ix on Qubes OS.

I'm working for ITL, currently on getting S0ix support in Qubes OS.
